Charles N. York II

Charles N. York II is currently the Chief Operating and Financial Officer at Day One Biopharmaceuticals. Charles has held this position since February 2021. Prior to this, they were the CFO and Head of Corporate Development at Aeglea BioTherapeutics from July 2014 to February 2021. Before Aeglea, they were a Consulting CFO at Bridgepoint Consulting, LLC from October 2013 to July 2014.

York began their career as an auditor at Motorola from October 2002 to November 2003. Charles then became the Controller for the Networking Segment at Freescale Semiconductor from November 2003 to September 2007. After leaving Freescale, they took on the role of Director of Accounting at ArthroCare Corporation from September 2007 to February 2009. In March 2009, they became the Corporate Controller at Astrotech Corp (NASDAQ: ASTC) and held this position until August 2012.

York is a Certified Public Accountant and graduated with their Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Texas A&M University.

Charles N. York II earned their MBA in finance and marketing from the Texas McCombs School of Business and their bachelor's in business administration with a concentration in accounting from the University of Connecticut. Charles is also a certified public accountant.
