Jorge Caravia

Jorge Caravia has extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Jorge currently holds the position of VP Commercial and Portfolio Planning at Day One Biopharmaceuticals since April 2021. Prior to this role, Jorge was a Partner at DNA Ink, a consulting firm specializing in life sciences. At DNA Ink, they provided corporate advisory and transaction services for biotech, medtech, and pharma clients. Before joining DNA Ink, Jorge served as an Independent Consultant, both at TRACON Pharmaceuticals and in their independent practice, where they focused on business development and commercial assessment and analysis. Jorge also has experience at Genentech as a Senior Market Planning Manager and started their career at Booz Allen as an Associate.

Jorge Caravia began their education at Northwestern University, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Computer Science from 1991 to 1995. Jorge then went on to attend The Wharton School and the University of Pennsylvania, where they obtained an MBA and a Masters of Biotechnology, respectively. Their enrollment at The Wharton School and the University of Pennsylvania occurred from 2001 to 2003.
