Graham Shave has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources. Graham started their career at Bayview Credit Union Limited as a Commercial Credit Assistant from February 2010 to June 2011. Graham then joined Day & Ross in 2011 and worked as an HR Analyst, responsible for developing and improving key HR metrics and data analysis. Graham also served as a National Recruiting Specialist, supporting talent attraction and acquisition activities.
In 2013, Graham moved to McCain Foods where they worked as a Human Resources Generalist, providing comprehensive HR support to the Operations and Supply Chain team. Graham later became a Human Resources Business Partner, playing a proactive role in employee relations and strategic projects with Operations and Supply Chain teams.
Returning to Day & Ross in 2019, Graham held the position of Senior Human Resources Manager, leading HR initiatives and managing Centers of Excellence. Graham then advanced to the role of Director, HR Services, where they led cross-functional initiatives and projects while managing a team of HR professionals. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Director Human Resources at Day & Ross, but the end date is unspecified. Throughout their career, Graham has demonstrated expertise in various HR disciplines, including total rewards, talent acquisition, organizational development, learning, reporting and analytics, and change management. Graham has been actively involved in driving corporate HR strategy and championing continuous improvement in HR services.
Graham Shave, CPHR, holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Human Resources Management from the University of New Brunswick, which they obtained from 2005 to 2009. In addition, they have acquired several certifications, including Building Resilience & Preventing Burnout from Duke Corporate Education and Fostering Inclusion & Diversity from Yale Executive Education, both in 2020. Graham also obtained the Korn Ferry Leadership Architect and Voices 360 certifications from Korn Ferry in 2015. Furthermore, Graham Shave obtained the Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation from CPHR Canada in February 2015.
