Executive Assistant to Chief Executive Officer at DayDayCook

Chris Cheung has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Most recently, they worked as the Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer at DayDayCook (DDC Enterprise Limited) since May 2023. Prior to that, they were the Accelerator Program Director at Good Food Movement, where they aimed to build a leading food tech ecosystem in Hong Kong and promote diversity among cohort and future portfolio companies from June 2022 onwards.

Prior to White Lemon, Chris was the Co-founder of Bread & Beast from August 2014 to June 2019. During their tenure, they led the growth of the Bread & Beast brand by 4.5 times in 5 years. The brand was even invited to food festivals in Australia and the U.S.

Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Chris worked at Unilever as a Senior Assistant Brand Manager for Dove China from January 2014 to June 2014, where they led new post-wash platform launches and managed the brand's portfolio. Chris also developed the brand's e-commerce strategy and improved its in-store presence. Prior to this role, they served as an Assistant Brand Manager for Dove North America from August 2012 to December 2013. In this position, they led various communication development and innovation projects and developed a business strategy to premiumize the category. Chris also analyzed marketing strategy and optimized promotion and brand equity for Canada's bar business.

Before joining Unilever, Chris gained valuable experience as an Investment Consulting Intern at New Pacific Consulting from June 2011 to October 2012. In this role, they developed investment theses for fast-growing industries in the energy sector in the People's Republic of China (PRC) and conducted due diligence investigations on target companies for global leading private equity clients.

Chris also worked as a Research Analyst at Vencon Management from January 2011 to April 2011, where they evaluated business proposals of seed and post-seed Greentech enterprises, analyzed financial reports and monitored the progress of portfolio companies, and reviewed government green policies and tracked the release of the latest green projects and technology.

Lastly, Chris gained experience in the banking sector as a Wealth Management Intern at Bank of China (Hong Kong) in July 2010, where they developed, launched, and marketed the first bank card that merged a China and a Hong Kong account. Chris also analyzed capital inflow from China and developed incentive schemes to attract investors' capital.

Overall, Chris Cheung has a strong background in business development, brand management, entrepreneurship, and investment consulting across various sectors.

Chris Cheung completed their high school education at Diocesan Boys' School from 2001 to 2005, earning a diploma in General Studies. Chris then attended Phillips Andover from 2005 to 2008, where they obtained a High School Diploma, also in General Studies. Following this, Chris pursued their undergraduate studies at Columbia University, graduating in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Financial Economics & Sustainable Development. Currently, they are enrolled at China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) from 2021 to 2023, pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General. Additionally, in 2022, they briefly studied at IESE Business School, where they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA), though the field of study is unspecified.
