Pete Rypstra

Pete Rypstra is a seasoned professional in the visual effects industry, currently serving as Founder and Creative Director at Daydreamer since July 2019, where responsibilities include overseeing VFX, online mastering, and shoot supervision. Prior to this role, Rypstra was Creative Director and 2D/VFX Supervisor at UNIT for just over a year. Rypstra also accrued significant experience at The Mill as Visual Effects Supervisor from 2008 to July 2018, and at MPC from October 2004 to October 2008 in a similar capacity. Early career experience includes a role as Editor at Digital Workshop in South Africa from January 1998 to January 2000. Rypstra's educational background includes training at Allenby Campus.
