Liming Tang Ph.d

Liming Tang, Ph.D., MBA, has extensive experience in polymer chemistry and research, currently serving as Senior Research Chemist and Group Leader at DayGlo Color Corp since November 2010. Tang has led the development of natural polyamide-based fluorescent pigments, filing a patent application in June 2022 for this environmentally friendly innovation. Previous roles include developing fluorescent pigments and water-borne polymers, as well as providing technical support for production scalability and marketing. Earlier research positions include time as a Research Associate at Case Western Reserve University, a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Connecticut, and a Research Assistant at the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Tang holds an MBA from Cleveland State University, a Ph.D. in Polymer and Organic Chemistry from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and a Master's in Polymer Science from Beijing University of Chemical Technology.
