Tom Hynek

Tom Hynek has over 20 years of experience in the design industry. From 1996 to 2000, they worked as a design researcher at Doblin Group. Tom then moved to MetaDesign where they held the role of research and design consultant until 2003. In 2003, they co-founded Feynwerk GmbH and worked there until 2005. From 2005 to 2013, they worked at IDEO as a health practice member and project leader. Tom then moved to MADE Design where they were a global insights lead until 2015. From 2015 to 2017, they worked at Huawei Technologies as a UX Research Lead, leading UX initiatives to uncover user insights on global research efforts for Huawei's Enterprise and Carrier business units. In 2017, they founded Design Research Consulting SARL and held the role of Founder and Research Lead. Tom also worked at Daylight as a Design Strategy from 2017.

Tom Hynek attended the Illinois Institute of Technology from 1993-1996, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Product Design.
