William Chapman

William Chapman is a retired VP of Advanced Technology at DRS Daylight Solutions, where they held the position briefly in 2018. Prior to that, they served as a Sr. Director of Engineering at Emcore from 2008 to 2009 and as an Engineering Manager at Intel from 2002 to 2008. William has also contributed as a Principal Engineer at New Focus from 1997 to 2002 and currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors at Vescent Photonics, LLC since 2018. They hold a PhD in Chemical Physics from the University of Colorado Boulder and multiple degrees in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley.
