Jerrod Schwartz

Jerrod Schwartz serves as the Vice President of Advanced Technology at ChromaCode, Inc., where leadership involves overseeing innovation programs in medical diagnostics through multiplexed nucleic acid detection systems. Prior to this role, Jerrod was the Head of Genomics at Verily Life Sciences, leading a team in various scientific domains including translational genomics and systems biology. Jerrod’s early career included positions at Google[x] Life Sciences, focusing on in vivo biosensors, and a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Washington, working on advanced sequencing technologies. Jerrod's academic background includes a PhD in Bioengineering from Stanford University, an MSc in Biochemistry & Molecular Biophysics from Caltech, and a BSc (Hon) in Biochemistry from The University of British Columbia.
