Hannah O'Brien has a diverse background in various roles and industries. Hannah began their career in 2011 as a Senior Lifeguard with Surf Life Saving Queensland, where they demonstrated strong teamwork and leadership skills in maintaining beach safety. In 2012, they joined QUT (Queensland University of Technology) as a Sessional Academic, where they tutored and demonstrated engineering subjects while also marking assessments. Hannah also served as an Engineering Ambassador for QUT, engaging with primary and high school students in STEM activities.

In 2015, Hannah worked as an Engineering Student at Hexion Inc., focusing on updating and streamlining onsite safety systems. Hannah analyzed and developed user-friendly templates for Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) forms. From 2016 to 2018, Hannah was employed by ASG Group (formerly SMS Management & Technology) as a Consultant and Business Analyst for Financial Services and Resources projects. Their responsibilities included working on projects such as Bank of Queensland, Origin, Suncorp, and Glencore.

In 2019, Hannah joined Dayshape as a Business Analyst and later transitioned to the role of Senior Software Implementation Consultant in March 2021. Throughout their tenure, they have been involved in all aspects of the project lifecycle. With their strong analytical skills and expertise in implementation, Hannah has made valuable contributions to the company.

Hannah O'Brien completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering from QUT (Queensland University of Technology) between the years 2011 and 2015.
