John Duby

Chair of Department of Pediatrics & Community Health at Dayton Children's Hospital

John Duby, MD, FAAP, CPE is Professor and Chair of the Department of Pediatrics at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine and Dayton Children’s Hospital.

He is a Past President of the Society for Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics, and Immediate Past Chair of the American Board of Pediatrics Sub Board in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics.

Previously, he chaired the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Task Force on the Vision of Pediatrics 2020, and also chaired the AAP Mental Health Leadership Workgroup, whose charge was to support the integration of the work of the AAP Task Force on Mental Health into the daily activities of the Academy.

He currently serves as Improvement Advisor for the AAP Chapter Quality Network project for Practice Improvement to Address Adolescent Substance Use.

He is a member of the Board of Trustees of Dayton Children’s Hospital.
