Andrew Hiatt is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in education, library services, and legal research. Currently serving as an Assistant Manager at Dayton Metro Library since January 2018, Andrew manages branch technology, facilitates digital literacy coaching, and leads technology programming while also substituting for various children and teen programs. Prior to this role, Andrew was an American Criminal Justice Teacher at Western Hills University High, where curriculum development occurred for middle school courses. Experience includes teaching middle school math, managing new teacher training with Teach For America, and completing legal internships with various organizations, including The Supreme Court of Ohio. Andrew holds a Master of Library & Information Science from Kent State University, a Juris Doctorate from the University of Cincinnati College of Law, and a Bachelor’s degree in History from Xavier University.
