Tyler Shaner has a diverse work experience in the construction industry. Tyler started their career as a Project Engineer at Kiewit in 1997. Tyler then worked as a District Engineer at EFCO from 1998 to 2001, followed by a role as a District Manager at the same company from 2001 to 2004. Shaner joined PERI in 2004 as a Sr. Formwork & Shoring Engineer for a few months before transitioning to Symons, where they served as a Research & Development Manager from 2004 to 2006. Tyler then became the Director of Engineering at Dayton Superior, managing and leading a team of over 60 engineers across multiple functions. In 2010, they took on the role of Sr. Product Manager, overseeing the development and launch of successful product lines generating significant revenue. Currently, Shaner serves as the Director of Engineering at Dayton Superior.
Tyler Shaner attended Simpson College from 1991 to 1994 where they pursued pre-engineering and math studies. Tyler then went on to Iowa State University from 1994 to 1996, completing a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. Lastly, they attended Colorado Technical University from 2007 to 2009, earning an Executive Masters in Business Administration (EMBA) degree.
