Paul Bender

Paul Bender has a diverse work experience in the field of venue operations, facilities, and capital projects. Paul currently serves as the Senior Director of Venue Operations at Daytona International Speedway since January 2023. Prior to this role, they were the Director of Venue Operations at Daytona International Speedway from October 2018 to January 2023. Paul also worked as an Assistant Stadium Manager at Daytona International Speedway from February 2017 to October 2018.

Before their tenure at Daytona International Speedway, Paul worked as the Director of Field Operations at Popeye's Bahamas Bowl from December 2014 to November 2017. Paul also served as the Associate Director of Facilities & Operations at UCF Athletics Association Inc. from July 2014 to February 2017 and as the Assistant Director of Facilities at UCF Athletics Association Inc. from January 2014 to July 2014.

Additionally, Paul held the position of Director of Facilities at Georgia State University from August 2009 to August 2011, and prior to that, they were the Director of Facilities and Capital Projects at UCF Athletics from February 2001 to August 2009.

Paul Bender attended Edgewater High School from 1978 to 1980. From 1980 to 1984, they attended US Navy VA - 81 Sunliners, where they focused on AMS Aviation Structural Mechanic (Structures).
