Joey Cannata has been a leader in the beverage industry for over 20 years. In 2021, they became the Co-Founder & President of DAYTRIP at DT Brands & Co (N.I.) LTD. Prior to that, they were the Executive Vice President of Sales and Distribution at Rockstar Energy Drink for 17 years, where they negotiated national agreements with some of the largest brands in the world. In 2000, they were the Campaign Manager for Gavin Newsom's Re-election Campaign for San Francisco Supervisor, District 3, where they designed and implemented campaign strategies. In 1998, they were the Assistant to the Executive Producer, Don Johnson, for the network television show "Nash Bridges" where they managed communication between the Executive Producer and department heads. In 1996, they were the Director of Field Operations 1st Congressional District for Michela Alioto's election campaign, where they managed volunteers, interns, and junior campaign staff.
