Jessica Steele

Jessica Steele is the Communications Director at David Baker Architects, a prominent architecture and urban design firm, since 2007. At DBA, Jessica focuses on designing spaces that foster community engagement and benefit. Prior to this role, Jessica worked as a Pastry Chef at renowned San Francisco restaurants from 2001 to 2006 and was a Crossword Puzzle Writer for Time Warner Inc. from 1997 to 2006, where responsibilities included co-writing for Teen People Magazine and serving as Copy Chief. In the earlier years, Jessica gained extensive experience in publishing, holding various staff and freelance roles. Educational achievements include a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and English from Mills College, a Professional Certificate in Book & Magazine Publishing from the Radcliffe Publishing Program, and a Certificate in Baking & Pastry Arts from The Culinary Institute of America.
