Michael Smith

Michael Smith has extensive experience in the railway industry, with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Resource Delivery Manager at DB Cargo (UK) Limited since September 1993, Michael oversees Groundstaff resources for the UK and manages a team of seven Resource Assistants. Previous roles at DB Cargo include Terminal Manager at multiple terminals and Resource Section Manager, where responsibilities included rostering staff. Prior to DB Cargo, Michael worked at DB Schenker from 1997 to 2013, starting as a Train Running Controller and advancing to Traincrew Resource Controller and Shift Supervisor.
