Kumari Samaranayake

Kumari Samaranayake is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in high-performance computing and application architecture. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at DB Consulting Group, Inc. since March 2020, Kumari contributes to NASA's Johnson Space Center's Command System and Mission Control. Prior to this, Kumari worked as a Senior Software Engineering Consultant at Creative Global Consulting, focusing on a High-Performance Storage Solution for IBM Corporation. Experience at IBM from November 2000 to August 2018 includes roles as a lead Java developer and Database Administrator for the USPS Automated Postal Center Project, enhancing J2EE application performance by 50%. Kumari holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and degrees in Computer Science and Engineering as well as a Diploma in Computer Information Systems.
