Seppo Savolainen

Seppo Savolainen has extensive experience in leadership roles across various industries. Currently serving as Chairman of the Board at Carbodeon Ltd Oy, overseeing the development of superhard nanomaterials, and as a Board Member at DB Pro Oy, which specializes in machine learning software for database optimization. As a Partner and Co-Founder of Straightforward Capital, Seppo focuses on early-stage venture investments. Seppo also holds the position of Chairman of the Board at Hofstede Insights, a global cultural analytics advisory. Previous roles include Chairman of the Board and CFO at Enersense International Oyj, where significant growth in wind energy projects was achieved, and Co-Founder of ZenPark Oy, a leading business intelligence provider in Finland. Seppo's early career involved executive positions at Done Solutions Oyj and Jetfix Oy. Seppo holds an MBA in Economics from the University of Jyväskylä.
