Gabriela Castaneda

Gabriela Castañeda is a skilled manufacturing engineer currently employed at Bell Flight, where notable achievements include refining rotor blade fabrication plans, identifying cost-saving laser engraving solutions, and conducting root cause analyses. With a strong commitment to leadership, Gabriela also serves as the AIAA Comet Aviation Director, managing a team of over 50 engineers and ensuring project progress through effective collaboration and deadline enforcement. Previous roles include leading the Design/Build/Fly mechanics team and serving as a server at Babe's Chicken Dinner House, where customer service skills were honed. Gabriela holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Dallas, expected in May 2025.
