Jennifer Horn is a seasoned landscape architect and educator with extensive experience in landscape architecture and design. Since August 2009, Jennifer has served as the Principal at JHLA, a detail-oriented landscape architecture firm that caters to both public and private property owners. In addition to leading JHLA, Jennifer has been the Director of Landscaping at DBI Construction Consultants since July 2018, where services include landscape construction consulting and tree appraisal. Jennifer's academic contributions include serving as an Adjunct Faculty member at Columbia University from 2005 to 2013, teaching courses on ornamental trees and shrub identification with a strong focus on horticulture and botanical morphology. Previous professional roles include landscape architect positions at Deborah Nevins & Associates and the Bronx Zoo/Wildlife Conservation Society, among others, as well as city planning with the NYC Department of City Planning. Jennifer holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from The University of Georgia and a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture from Virginia Tech.
