Dick Lai

Dick Lai is currently the Team Lead for Compliance Advisory Technology and Operation at DBS Bank as of December 2022, following a notable tenure at HSBC from July 2010 to December 2022, where responsibilities included roles as Senior Fraud Manager and Senior Compliance Manager. Prior roles at HSBC highlighted expertise in financial crime mitigation and compliance across Asia Pacific. Earlier experience includes research on risk management at City University of Hong Kong and community organizing for the Hong Kong Government. Dick Lai holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Programme and Project Management from the University of Warwick and a BBA (Hons) in Electronic Commerce from City University of Hong Kong, complemented by an exchange program in Marketing and Management at San Jose State University.
