Hitesh Sheth

Hitesh Sheth is an experienced professional in operational risk management and financial control, currently serving as the Executive Director and Head of Operational Risk at DBS Bank since December 2011. In this role, Hitesh oversees cost budgeting, drives cost discipline, and enhances cost efficiency while leading the Data First Project to unlock value through data analytics. Previously, Hitesh was the Head of Risk Analysis Unit and Business Management Support at HSBC, managing a team of credit analysts for the Global Banking Unit, and also held a significant role at Standard Chartered Bank as Director & Head of Portfolio Controls and Operational Risk, where leadership was provided to a pan-India team focused on governance and operations risk for corporate banking. Hitesh is a Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and holds a B.Com in Finance from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata.
