Meera Nair

Meera Nair is an accomplished independent director on the board of DBS Bank and a seasoned strategy and management consultant specializing in the food and agricultural sector. With extensive experience in advisory roles, Meera has contributed to various initiatives, including the development of an e-trading platform for agricultural commodities in Tamil Nadu through collaboration with NABARD. Meera serves on the advisory boards of Teach For India (Chennai Region) and B.S. Abdur Rahman University, while also providing executive coaching for CXOs and entrepreneurs. Previous roles include significant positions at Shriram Group, EID Parry (India) Ltd, NCDEX, and ICICI Bank, focusing on economic empowerment and agricultural policy initiatives. Meera holds a Master’s in Agricultural Economics from Michigan State University, an MBA from the University of Mumbai, and a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Sciences from Kerala Agricultural University.
