Dan Poppy is a seasoned content strategist with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as a Senior Content Strategist at dbt Labs since June 2023, Dan previously held the position of Director of Content & Creative at OneStudyTeam, where oversight of content, creative, and public relations teams was implemented. At Medidata Solutions, Dan was the Editorial Director responsible for shaping editorial strategy and collaborating with diverse teams to enhance corporate messaging. Dan's career includes contributions as Assistant Managing Editor at PharmAsia News, where reporting and editing from across Southeast Asia were integral to the role, and as a Freelance Writer for notable publications. Dan started as a reporter for "The Pink Sheet" at Elsevier Science. Dan holds a BA in International Relations/Political Science from Carleton College.
