Gideon Shils

Gideon Shils is a Senior Software Engineer at dbt Labs since June 2021, focusing on building dbt Cloud. Prior experience includes roles at Bazaarvoice from July 2020 to April 2021, where responsibilities involved revamping Curalate’s content syndication service and leading the development of an upgraded Instagram rights request workflow. At Curalate, from January 2019 to July 2020, Gideon designed distributed RESTful microservices and developed various innovative features for the social commerce platform. Earlier, a software development internship at Bit (Cocycles) involved optimizing JavaScript modules and enhancing the community's resources. Gideon holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Pittsburgh, obtained in 2018.
