Matt Leff

Matt Leff is a seasoned accounting professional currently serving as the Director of Accounting at dbt Labs since May 2025. Prior to this role, Matt held the position of Controller at Mighty Networks from June 2024 to May 2025. Matt's extensive experience at KPMG spanned nearly nine years, where responsibilities included roles as Audit Senior Manager, Audit Manager, Senior Associate - Audit, and Audit Associate. Additionally, Matt gained early experience as a Risk Advisory Intern at KPMG for a brief period in 2014. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Commerce with a major in Accounting and a finance emphasis from Santa Clara University, graduating in 2015, and also completed high school at Seattle Preparatory School in 2011.
