Mark Fortier has a range of experience in the telecommunications industry. Mark started their career at Level 3 Communications, where they worked as a Sales Director, overseeing the sales of various internet-based products. Mark later joined Benefitfocus.com as a Business Development Director, focusing on increasing recurring revenue within existing national accounts. At EarthLink, Mark held the position of Carrier Sales Director, managing the highest grossing sales division for the company and contributing significant revenue. Mark then moved on to Global Capacity as Vice President of Global Sales, where they built a sales team and established a substantial funnel of recurring revenue. Mark also worked at FiberLight, LLC as Vice President of Technology Infrastructure Sales, executing over $400M in total contract value and launching a direct connect program for access to cloud providers. Mark is currently employed at DC BLOX as the VP of Strategic Development.

Mark Fortier received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts from the University of Maine, where they studied from 1982 to 1986.
