Chris Dautel

Chris Dautel was recently promoted to Director of Strategic Planning and Corporate Development for Schurz Communications. In this new role he will be responsible for Mergers and Acquisitions Valuation Analysis, Investments, Strategic Planning and Real Estate Administration.

Chris Dautel joined the Schurz Communications corporate staff as Electronic Division Controller and Strategic Analyst in April 2014. He had been the Vice President of Finance and Business Affairs for WSBT-TV for the prior seven years. In addition, a portion of his time had been allocated to Schurz Communications largely in the area of acquisitions. Chris’ skills fit well with the need for directed attention to financial processes as well as looking ahead to opportunities and trends within the industry. Prior to joining Schurz, he was Director of Financial Planning and Analysis for Raycom Media.

Chris and his wife Lauren are the parents of Daniel and McKenna.
