Saurin Purohit

Saurin Purohit is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Vice President of Design & Engineering at DC BLOX, where responsibilities include leading infrastructure strategy and defining AI/ML-ready design standards. Prior experience includes a role as Principal Mechanical Engineer at Amazon Web Services, where Saurin co-led AI/ML development, achieving significant cost reductions. Saurin also held positions at Meta as a Staff Data Center Mechanical Design Engineer, proposing cost-saving cooling designs, and at Google as a Staff Data Center Mechanical Engineer, where Saurin oversaw global infrastructure programs and HVAC strategy. Early in the career, Saurin worked at Seasons 4, Inc. as a Project Engineer, designing custom HVAC systems. Saurin holds a BSME from L.D. College of Engineering and an MSME from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
