Desiré P. Grogan has extensive experience in library services, ministry, and training. Currently serving as the Assistant Manager at the Adult Literacy Resource Center of DC Public Library since February 2000, Desiré manages the Library’s Free Computer Class Program and develops curriculum for various computer skills. Concurrently, Desiré has been an Associate Minister at Shiloh Baptist Church of Washington, DC, since December 1992, where responsibilities include founding Revelation Ministries. Previous roles include Digital and Office Certification Trainer at KINKO'S, INC., Editor for Progressive National Baptist Convention, and intern at the Library of Congress. Desiré holds a Master of Arts in Semitics, a Master of Divinity in Theology, a Master of Library Science, and a Bachelor of Music in Musicology.
