DC Public Charter School Board
Sharif Hodges is a Communications Specialist at the DC Public Charter School Board, where engagement began in November 2022. Previously, Sharif served as a Communications Coordinator in the same organization. From January 2018 to October 2022, Sharif worked at GameStop as a Senior Guest Associate. Additionally, Sharif contributed as a Writer for the Towson University school newspaper, "The Baltimore Watchdog," from January 2020 to December 2021. Sharif earned a Bachelor's degree in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs from Towson University, completing studies in December 2021.

DC PCSB is an independent government agency of the District of Columbia, created in 1996, led by a volunteer seven-member board. As the sole public charter school authorizer in our nation’s capital, we provide oversight to 133 public charter schools which are managed by 68 independently run nonprofit organizations called local education agencies.
