Tim Mills has a diverse work experience spanning over the past decade. Tim started their career as a Business Development Manager at Samuel Bruce in 2007 and worked there for a year. Tim then joined NewsBase in 2008 as an Account Manager, where they played a crucial role in implementing enhanced customer relationship strategies, leading to significant growth in customer retention and revenue. Tim progressed within the company and eventually became an Associate Director, responsible for managing the Customer Account Management team and contributing to company-wide sales strategy. In 2016, Tim took on the role of Director, leading customer accounts and business development while also providing sales management support and aiding in digital transformation. In 2019, they joined DC Thomson as the Head of Sales & Marketing for Energy Voice, where they offered valuable insights and assistance to leaders and strategists in the energy industry concerning market events and future trends. Tim Mills attended the Trinity School of John Whitgift from 1993 to 2001, where they achieved 10 GCSEs with 9 A*s and 1 A, as well as 5 A-levels with 3 As and 2 Bs. Tim then went on to study at the University of Nottingham from 2002 to 2005, where they obtained a BA (Hons) degree in Philosophy. In addition to their formal education, Tim Mills also obtained several certifications, including Introduction to Corporate Finance, Introduction to Operations Management, Introduction to Financial Accounting, and Introduction to Marketing, all from Coursera, in 2017.
