Henok Getahun

Henok Getahun, CPA, is an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in accounting and auditing. Currently serving as Accounting Controller at DC Water since November 2014, Henok has also held positions as Treasury & Debt Manager and Senior Accountant within the same organization. Previous experience includes a role as Senior Auditor at Ernst & Young US and Corporate Accountant at Santeon Group, Inc. Additionally, Henok has worked at Mark Accounting and Tax Services, EY, and A.W. Thomas & Co. Chartered Accountants in various capacities. Educational qualifications include a BA in Accounting and Finance from Addis Ababa University, certifications such as CPA from the Virginia Board of Accountancy, CGFM from the Association of Government Accountants, CIA from the Institute of Internal Auditors, and FCCA from ACCA.
