Jean-Hugues Deschenes

Jean-Hugues Deschenes has over 20 years of work experience in the software engineering field. Jean-Hugues began their career in 2000 as a Senior Software Engineer at NMS Communications. In 2004, they moved to Octasic Semiconductor and held two roles, Senior Software Engineer and Technology Leader, and Senior Software Engineer at Kallastra, a division of Octasic. In 2018, they became a Senior Software Architect for dcbel.

Jean-Hugues Deschenes received their DEC from CEGEP Bois-de-Boulogne in 1993-1995, followed by a B.Ing in Electrical engineering from Polytechnique Montr\u00e9al in 1995-2000. Jean-Hugues then went on to obtain an M.Ing in Computer engineering from Polytechnique Montr\u00e9al in 2002-2006. In 2019-2020, they completed a Professional Development Certificate in Data Science and Machine Learning from McGill University School of Continuing Studies. In October 2020, they obtained the Google Cloud Platform Big Data and Machine Learning Fundamentals certification from Coursera.
