Brian Mays

Brian Mays is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in strategic communications, marketing, and program management. Currently serving as the Director at DCG Communications since July 2018, Brian leads a team supporting the SBA’s Office of Veterans Business Development after three years as the strategic communications lead for the DOD’s Office of Local Defense Community Cooperation. Previous roles include Program Manager and Deputy Program Manager at Metro Productions Government Services, LLC, and Deputy Program Manager at L-3 MPRI, focusing on Army Public Affairs and event planning. Brian's military background spans over two decades as an Infantry and Aviation Officer in the US Army, complemented by leadership as Chief of Staff at the Africa Center for Strategic Studies. Brian holds multiple advanced degrees, including an M.S. in National Security Resourcing and an M.B.A. in Aviation Management.
