Katrina Keefer has an extensive work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Katrina started their career as a Financial Planning Analyst at Jackson Thornton in 1995. Later, they worked as an Assistant Director of Admissions at Huntingdon College and as an Associate Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries at the Alabama West-Florida Conference, The United Methodist Church. In 2001, Katrina held a role as a Consolidation Team Business Analyst at the New York City Department of Finance.
Katrina joined UAB Medicine in 2002 and held various positions, including Director of Financial Operations, Treasurer, and SVP/Chief Financial Officer at Baptist Health in Montgomery, AL. Katrina remained with UAB Medicine until 2019 when they became the Chief Executive Officer of Augusta University Health. In 2022, Katrina took on the role of President and Chief Executive Officer at DCH Health System. Throughout their career, Katrina has displayed a strong financial background and leadership skills in the healthcare industry.
Katrina Keefer earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Management with a concentration in Economics & Finance from Huntingdon College in 1995. Katrina later obtained a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from New York University in 2002, specializing in Public and Nonprofit Management and Policy with a concentration in Finance.
