Carlos Hilário Andrade is the current Director of Brazil at DCH. Prior to this, they worked at Anglo American for 5 years and 10 months, where they were responsible for the strategic management of all HR processes, labor relations, and administrative management of the company's business units in Brazil. Carlos was also responsible for implementing a program to increase professionals' awareness of behavior change and promoting a safer work environment. Additionally, they represented the HR executive in internal and external events such as conferences, workshops, and symposiums as a coordinator and speaker.

Before Anglo American, Andrade worked as the Human Resources and Environment General Manager at ArcelorMittal. In this role, they were responsible for recruitment and selection, training, leadership development, succession planning, performance management, organizational climate management, union relations, management of international certifications (OSHA 18001 and ISO 14001), and administrative activities related to the contracting of third-party services for the silviculture area. Carlos implemented internal consulting with a generalist profile that added value to the organization and had direct interaction with the company's corporate office.

Andrade has also served as the Administration and HR General Manager at ArcelorMittal BioFlorestas and the Human Resources Director at ArcelorMittal USA. Most recently, they were the HR and Leadership Development General Manager at ArcelorMittal Brasil before taking on their current role at DCH.

Carlos Hilário Andrade has a Doctorate in Business Administration from Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina, a Master's in Business Administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas, a Bachelor's in Psychology from Universidade FUMEC, a Bachelor's in Psychosocial Operation from Escuela de Psicología Social del Sur, Buenos Aires - Argentina, and a Bachelor's in Business Administration from Universidade Vila Velha - UVV. Carlos also has a specialization in Human Resources from FAESA.
