Brian McCabe

Managing Member at DCI Group

Brian McCabe serves as a managing partner at DCI Group. He oversees the firm’s Grassroots Engagement and Digital & Online Integration solutions teams, as well as a significant portion of the firm’s client portfolio. As one of the industry’s leading technology and telecommunications policy experts, he works directly with CEOs and other senior executives to develop effective approaches to public policy issues as well as corporate mergers and acquisitions.

Brian’s more than 20 years of experience in public affairs, grassroots programs, and advertising at the intersection of business and public policy helped grow DCI into one of the largest independent public affairs firms in the country. DCI Group’s award-winning Grassroots Engagement team offers public relations outreach, media strategy, national and state coalition building, grassroots activity, and third-party relationships in all 50 states.

Brian served as president of the award winning Progress for America (PFA), a national political organization, where he led PFA’s national campaign to build support for the confirmation of Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts and Justice Sam Alito in 2004 and 2005.

Prior to joining DCI Group in 2002, Brian founded his own public affairs firm, McCabe Consulting Group as well as Custom Scoop – a customizable media monitoring and analysis technology. Preceding that, Brian served as executive director of Senator Bob Dole’s New Hampshire primary campaign. In addition, he worked for Congressman Bill Zeliff (NH-1), managing his 1994 and 1996 campaigns.

Brian earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the Whittemore School of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire, where he served as student body president. Between semesters, he learned the value of hard work installing irrigation systems with Gilford Well.
