Siddhartha Jha's work experience begins with their role as the Founder & CEO of Arbol, a platform that connects farms and businesses exposed to weather risk with capital providers. In 2021, Siddhartha became a Founding Partner at dClimate, the world's first transparent and decentralized marketplace for climate data. Their role involves standardizing, monetizing, and distributing climate data, forecasts, and models to make them more accessible and reliable for data consumers.
Before their current ventures, Siddhartha worked as a Cross-Commodities Quantitative Strategist at Citadel LLC from 2017 to 2018. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Multi-commodities Trading (Agriculture/Metals) at Castleton Commodities International, where they initiated agricultural commodities trading and traded industrial metals. Siddhartha's career began at Arbalet Capital in 2010, where they started as a Senior Analyst focusing on thorough quantitative analysis of fundamentals for relative value opportunities in the US, Europe, and Asia across sectors such as energy, agriculture, and metals.
Before joining Arbalet Capital, Siddhartha worked in Fixed Income Strategy at JPMorgan Chase from 2005 to 2010.
From 2001 to 2005, Siddhartha Jha attended Harvard University, where they obtained a B.A and M.A in Applied Math/Econ and Statistics.
