Denys C. Shortt

Denys Shortt is the founder and chairman of DCS Group, a UK-based manufacturing company. Denys has also served as the chairman of the Coventry & Warwickshire Local Enterprise Partnership and as the chairman of Ladykillers Hockey Club.

Shortt began their career in manufacturing, working for DCS Inc in the UK. Denys then moved into business development and management, serving as the chairman of the Coventry & Warwickshire Local Enterprise Partnership. In this role, they worked to promote economic development and bring businesses closer to government. Denys also chaired the National LEP Summit with Prime Minister David Cameron and other government officials.

After a successful career in business development and management, Shortt returned to manufacturing, founding DCS Group in 2017. The company has since become a leading manufacturer in the UK, with clients including Olympic Hockey Gold Medal winners.

Shortt is a passionate advocate for manufacturing and its importance to the UK economy. Denys is also a strong supporter of hockey, having served as the chairman of Ladykillers Hockey Club for 10 years.

Denys C. Shortt was educated at Warwick School and Eagle House School. Denys studied maths, french, and geography.
