Otshegeditse Mathodi has a wealth of experience in the mining industry, with a focus on security and risk management. They are currently working at De Beers Group as the Security Compliance Lead, a position they have held since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Debswana Diamond Company as a Security Advisor from May 2021 to January 2022.

In 2019 and 2020, they obtained certification as a Certified Security Management Professional (CSMP) from the International Security Management Institute. Additionally, they have a certification in Managing Project Risk from LinkedIn, obtained in 2016.
