Sediko Rakolote

Sediko Rakolote serves as the Head of Stakeholder and Government Relations in South Africa for De Beers Group, overseeing the development and implementation of stakeholder strategies. Prior roles include Non-Executive Director at Community Schemes Ombud Services and Acting Senior Manager for Corporate Affairs at De Beers Venetia Mine. Rakolote has extensive experience in sustainability and stakeholder relations management across various mining companies, including Bushveld Minerals and Wesizwe Platinum. A former Commissioner at the Commission for Gender Equality, Rakolote holds multiple degrees, including a Master's in Conflict Transformation and Management from Nelson Mandela University and is currently pursuing a PhD in the same field.
