Stuart McDougall

Stuart McDougall has extensive experience in the metallurgy and minerals processing field, currently serving as Group Lead Metallurgy at De Beers since January 2009. Prior to this role, Stuart worked at Debeers Namdeb from July 1988 to December 2006 in various capacities, including Metallurgical Manager, focusing on production across multiple plants and leading key projects. Earlier experience includes a position as Metallurgist in Training at East Rand Gold and Uranium from March 1984 to July 1988, where development of the NKM screen took place. Stuart holds a BSc Eng in Metallurgy and Minerals Processing from the University of the Witwatersrand and completed matriculation at Witbank High School.
