Marielle S. Gross, MD, MBE

Marielle S. Gross, MD, MBE is the founder/CEO of de-bi, co since April 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Physician at UPMC starting in July 2020. Marielle S. also held the position of Assistant Professor at the University of Pittsburgh from July 2020. Before that, they were an Affiliate Assistant Professor and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Johns Hopkins Berman Institute of Bioethics from September 2018 to July 2020.

Marielle S. Gross, MD, MBE has a diverse education history. Marielle S. holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Ethics from The Jewish Theological Seminary (JTS) and another BA degree in Philosophy from Columbia University. Marielle S. further pursued their education by obtaining a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Bioethics/Medical Ethics from New York University. Additionally, Dr. Gross earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the University of Florida. Marielle S. then joined The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine for their Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program. Lastly, they completed a Postgraduate Degree in Bioethics/Medical Ethics from the Johns Hopkins Berman Institute of Bioethics.
