Jan Wytze Haanstra

Jan Wytze Haanstra is a Senior Associate and Candidate Civil Law Notary at De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek since May 2015, having previously served as an Associate and intern at the same firm. Haanstra gained additional experience as a Visiting Lawyer at Slaughter and May from September 2021 to March 2022 and completed internships at NautaDutilh and De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek in 2014. Haanstra was also a Board Member (Treasurer) at Vevonos, a prominent Dutch association for Notarial law students, from April 2012 to April 2013. Educational qualifications include a postgraduate degree from the Royal Dutch Association of Civil Law Notaries, a Master's degree from the University of Groningen, and a Bachelor's degree from the same institution, complemented by specialized studies in Notarial Law.
