Josta van Bockxmeer

Josta van Bockxmeer is a dedicated journalist and correspondent specializing in housing and socio-economic issues. Currently serving as Correspondent Wonen at De Correspondent since March 2020, Josta focuses on making affordable housing accessible to all. As a co-founder of Wooncoöperatie de Nieuwe Meent since December 2018, Josta is involved in developing forty affordable rental homes in Amsterdam-Oost. Previous experience includes roles at Het Financieele Dagblad as a real estate editor and freelance journalist. Josta holds a Master of Arts in General and Comparative Literature from Freie Universität Berlin and a Bachelor of Arts in German Studies and Philosophy from the University of Potsdam.
