Policy and Governance

The Policy and Governance team at De Dierenbescherming is responsible for shaping and influencing policies and regulatory frameworks related to animal welfare. They engage in lobbying efforts at municipal, provincial, national, and international levels, and oversee the compliance of these policies through bodies such as the Landelijke Inspectiedienst Dierenbescherming. They also ensure the integrity and continuous improvement of initiatives like the Beter Leven Keurmerk.
