Josephine Ortega

Josephine Ortega is a highly experienced designer currently serving as a Senior Designer at de Gournay since January 2022. Prior to this role, Josephine worked as a Designer and Junior Designer at The Rug Company from June 2018 to October 2021. Additional experience includes a position as a Commission Designer at Ace Hotel and as a Freelance Textile Designer at Tom Dixon Studio between December 2016 and April 2017. Josephine's career began as a Woven Production Assistant at MITCHELL INTERFLEX LIMITED and later as a Studio Assistant at Wallace Sewell. Josephine holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Textile Design from Central Saint Martins, University of The Arts London, earned between 2013 and 2016.
