Christine Henschel

Christine Henschel is a seasoned project editor at De Gruyter Brill since August 2013, specializing in project management, author communication, and cross-departmental workflow coordination within the Modern Languages editorial office. Prior to this role, Christine operated as a self-employed translator and copy editor from January 2009 to August 2013, focusing on academic texts in multiple languages. Additional experience includes a visiting lecturer position at the University of Chester, where supervision of various translation projects and Italian courses occurred, as well as earlier roles at De Gruyter and Saarland University. Christine holds a PhD in Romance Philology from Universität des Saarlandes and has degrees in German Studies, Philosophy, and Romance Studies from Friedrich Schiller University Jena and The University of Bonn.
